To all that I know both near & far,
From the midnight sky I send you a star.
It twinkled, glistened & shone from above,
Then down flew a bird, a Christmas peace dove.
The message it came with, was warm & sincere,
Be happy, have fun, with all you hold dear.
When raising a glass of festive cheer,
Say a prayer for the world & those sadly not here.
